MEET OUR STAFF
Rachel Baker
Program Coordinator
Rachel Baker joined the YWCA Knoxville and the Tennessee Valley in 2022 and serves as the GameChangers Program Coordinator. Her role and responsibilities are to provide leadership and development of all areas related to the delivery of the GameChangers program such as collaborative work with community partners, training, reporting, recruiting, and project planning. She is committed to engaging men in our community and raising awareness around domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and bystander intervention.
Rachel has a BA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Tennessee. She also has extensive experience working with youth in the foster care system, juvenile justice system, and those that have experienced human trafficking. She is passionate about empowering the next generation to believe in themselves, form positive and healthy relationships, and breaking the generational cycles that came before them.

Kendrick Tate
Mentor Coordinator
Kendrick Tate joined the YWCA GameChangers team as one of two part-time Mentor Coordinators . His role and responsibilities are to provide leadership in mentor recruitment and to assist in development related to the delivery of GameChangers and the OVW grant that support it. He works closely with the GameChangers team to continue to engage the community in our efforts.
Kendrick has a BA in Sociology from The University of Tennessee and MA in Criminal justice from Capella University. He also has extensive experience working in the juvenile court systems.

Paul Davis
Mentor Coordinator
Paul Davis joined the YWCA GameChangers team in December 2022 and serves as a Mentor Recruitment Coordinator. His roles and responsibilities are focused around the recruitment and retention of potential mentors to the GameChanger’s program. This involves vetting members of the community to become potential mentors, as well as educating those mentors on how to create an effective change within our community by engaging young men. He is passionate about ensuring the next generation of young men are equipped with the resources to identify and resolve issues relating to domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and sexual assault.
Paul has a BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. Some of his time was spent facilitating mindfulness and mediation seminars to his fellow students as well bringing awareness to men’s mental health issues. He is passionate about helping people and assisting the next generation of young men on their journey towards healthy masculinity.
